THE HOBBIT is a timeless tale of good and evil. A quest to right wrong and a search for treasure buried in a magic mountain guarded by a fiery dragon. The home-loving Hobbit Bilbo, a legendary wizard and a company of dwarves begin an adventure fraught with dangerous encounter’s with trolls, angry goblins and a giant spider. The extreme opposites of the spectrum between good and evil as portrayed in The Hobbit is heard throughout the musical score. From the friendly flute theme for Bilbo to the threatening french horns for Smaug the fierce dragon, the music enhances the powerful emotions that Tolkien creates during this wondrous fantasy adventure.
